Record livestock movements and send them to LIS using MyFarmWorks

Keeping livestock movement records up to date is an important part of farm compliance, but it doesn't have to be time-consuming.


With MyFarmWorks, you can create livestock movement records, generate movement documents and submit movements to LIS directly from your phone, helping you keep records up to date while reducing paperwork and admin.

How to record a livestock movement in MyFarmWorks:


1. Scan your livestock

Start by scanning the animals you want to move using your EID reader.


2. Open the MyFarmWorks app

Navigate to:

Record > Movements > Market Sale > Send to Market


3. Select your market

Choose the market destination and tap Next.


4. Add your animals

Tap Add More and select Add Groups.

You can:

  • Choose from saved groups

  • Load animals from a stick reader

  • Scan livestock directly into the app

Select your group, tap Add Groups, then Select All and Save.


Generate your movement documents

Once your movement has been created, generating the required paperwork is simple.

  1. Tap Reports > Movement Documents

  2. Select the movement you've just created

  3. Tap Save to generate your PDF movement document

  4. Return to the Home screen


Send livestock movements to LIS

When you're ready to submit your movement:

  1. Tap Send Movements to LIS

  2. Select the movement record

  3. Tap Send Selected

Your movement will then be submitted directly from the app.
